The Mill Creek community is once again invited to take part in three summer evening events hosted in the City of Mill Creek’s parks. Back for a second summer by popular demand, the Party in the Park events aim to provide free family-friendly fun while showcasing Mill Creek’s natural outdoor playgrounds.
Three Party in the Park events are scattered throughout the summer months.
- Thursday, June 27, at Highlands Park (16123 Highlands Blvd SE) at 5-7 p.m.
- Thursday, July 25, at Mill Creek Sports Park (13903 North Creek Dr.) at 5-7 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 22, at Heron Park at 5-7 p.m.
“Our first year of holding these events demonstrated that our community is very active and enjoys these park gatherings,” said Recreation Coordinator Jay Sandstrom. “We’ve bolstered the activities we’ll be offering this year and look forward to showcasing Mill Creek’s great parks.”
The public is welcome to play yard games, meet other community members, and connect with City staff, the Mill Creek Police Department, Mill Creek Library and Snohomish County Fire District 7. The Lions Club and Kiwanis of Mill Creek also will be present and providing food for purchase.
