Annual 3-on-3 Star Fest Basketball Tournament Slated for Weekend of July 13-14; Registration Now Open

The City of Mill Creek will again partner with Stars Unlimited to host its annual 3-on-3 Star Fest basketball tournament. The tournament takes place the weekend of July 13¬-14, as part of a full weekend of activity in Mill Creek with the popular Mill Creek Festival.
Saturday check-in for the tournament is at Mill Creek City Hall North, 15720 Main St., and begins at 8 a.m. Players are encouraged to arrive early and prepared to play. The opening game tips off at 8:30 a.m. Come Sunday, player check-in begins at 1 p.m. and the opening game starts at 1:30 p.m.
As parking is extremely limited, players and their fans are encouraged to park at Jackson High School. Free shuttles will be available for transport from the high school parking lot to City Hall North.
Registration for this tournament is now open and closes July 6. The fees range from $100 to $120 per team depending on the division the players fall under. Register online as soon as possible at

Youth play falls on Saturday. Divisions include third through eighth grade, high school open and high school elite. The divisions may vary slightly based on the amount of participants.
Adult teams play on Sunday. While divisions may again vary slightly depending on attendance, divisions will include men’s elite, men’s open, men’s over 45, men’s six feet and under, women’s open and co-ed open.
In addition to a good time and a bit of friendly competition, registered teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games, team participant shirts and champion shirts for the winners.

The community is encouraged to use Swift Green line to get to the event due to the number of people anticipated to be in the area that weekend. Exit at the 153rd Street SE station along the Bothell Everett Hwy (SR 527), and walk one block west into the heart of Mill Creek Town Center to access Main Street. Community Transit is an event sponsor and will be onsite distributing $10 bus passes.
